Ibutamoren Mesylate (MK-677) is an oral, high-affinity, long-lasting growth hormone secretagogue. In men with growth hormone deficiency it produces a sustained increase in the pulsatile release of human growth hormone and a subsequent rise in IGF-1 levels.

Ibutamoren mesylate (MK-677) is a growth hormone secretagogue and an agonist of the ghrelin receptor, developed as an orally active, high-affinity, long-lasting GH secretagogue. It selectively stimulates natural growth hormone release and increases IGF-1 levels.
MK-677 works by stimulating ghrelin release. Ghrelin — identified in 1999 — is a hormone released by the stomach and small intestine that also acts on the anterior pituitary axis to increase the pulsatile release of human growth hormone.
Ibutamoren Mesylate is an oral tablet ingested daily. An initial increase in appetite is expected — a known effect of its ghrelin activity.
Rather than replacing growth hormone from outside the body, secretagogues like MK-677 stimulate your own pituitary to produce more — an approach favored for its safety profile and sustained, natural pulsatile release. Related peptides such as Sermorelin and Tesamorelin are also available — see Advanced Peptides.
